This bioactive clean up crew bundle is for 10 Armadillidium vulgare “Punta Cana” isopods and one starter culture of pink springtails. This bundle is sure to add some interest to your vivarium!
Armadillidium vulgare “Punta Cana” Isopods:
An absolutely gorgeous locality of the classic A. vulgare that comes in a naturally occurring variety of metal tones! They reproduce easily once established. This species likes to sometimes wander around on the surface, so I recommend culturing these separately if using in a bioactive setup with primary inhabitants that may snack on them.
Pink Springtails:
A larger springtail well suited for bioactive setups, with a pinkish hue. Breeds well but not nearly as quickly as Folsomia candida.
Starter cultures include enough springtails to seed one enclosure, or start your own master culture.
